My home is in the south-east end of the county, where I have been privileged to watch the dynamic growth of The Villages. For the past several years I have worked closely with the American Cancer Society to plan and implement the yearly South Marion Relay For Life.My husband and I have been members of the Lake Weir Yacht Club since 1996, and, after its addition to National Register of Historic Places, helped the club through fundraising activities to restore the building to its previous glory. We enjoy sailing and all aspects of home remodeling.My background in education has led me to work in our area schools where I can see first-hand our youngest citizens taking steps toward their promising futures.Prior to moving to Marion County in 1987, I enjoyed the unique experience of living aboard a houseboat. For 5 years I was treated to many interesting places and sights on Florida's east coast waterways. I enjoy meeting people, and will be happy to help "old" friends and "new" friends alike with their real estate needs.
